Desiree & Adam were married at the end of March at the Old Governor’s Mansion in Baton Rouge. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful afternoon for this wedding! The ceremony was held in the beautiful gardens behind the mansion, with the reception inside. The reception was beautifully decorated by my friends at Narcissus Affair.

Amanda & Douglas were married at the Louisiana Old State Capital in Baton Rouge. The wedding and reception was beautifully decorated (and coordinated) by Stacey at Gala Productions. She did a fabulous job, and I love working with her.

Jade {Bridal portraits}

I LOVED working with Jade for her bridal portraits. The portraits were done at the Rural Life Museum in Baton Rouge. Jade was absolutely gorgeous in her dress, and she makes the best natural “serious” or “sultry” faces that I can ask for! hehe! I’m bummed that I’m out on bedrest for the next couple weeks until baby Harper arrives, so I’m missing her wedding this evening. I know my friends Eddie & Erika will do a FABULOUS job and I can’t wait to see and share the photos from their wedding.

Out of the Office

As most of you know, baby Harper Kelley is due to arrive at the end of May. Due to some pregnancy complications, I’ve been put on bedrest until she makes her grand entrance. Katie {Bridal Portraits}

Katie’s bridal photos were shot in downtown New Orleans in the French Quarter and Jackson Square. I had so much fun hanging out with Katie and her family…from rolling around in the grass in Jackson Square, to stopping in at a corner bar for a drink, to hanging out in the back alleys and meeting some interesting people – including Homer Simpson! haha!
